About Noah's Ark Preschool
Noah’s Ark Preschool is a ministry of Means Memorial UMC and we provided a faith based Christian Preschool designed to build a foundation of learning. We continue to work on improvements in curriculum and facilities so that the children have the best Christian foundation and education basics for when they start school. Noah’s Ark Preschool and Childcare Program is a state certified program that offers a preschool curriculum that includes language, mathematics and social skills.
Curriculums Offered are:
- D.L.M. “Alphabet All Around”
- “Touch Math"
- “Scholastic Magazine”
The classrooms have computers with learning programs to help develop small motor skills along with pre language and pre math skills. Letter and number recognition is also encouraged and practiced. We offer many “hands on” science activities along with creative art projects in the classrooms. There is an area for teacher directed large motor skills as well as an age appropriate playground.
